A Study of Light and Shadows

I have always tried to be aware of the light source in my paintings, however, I never really tried “painting” the source, like the sun. Tim Packer is an artist from Ontario and offers courses online in how to capture the sun in paintings. I’ve always taken any opportunity to advance my skill set, so I signed up. It was a download tutorial, and very well produced and presented. By taking this course, I am learning how to capture the sun in my paintings. I started a series of paintings called A Study of Light and Shadows, and have three completed and available in my SHOP. My goal is to ad more paintings using this new method I have learned. Each one helps me advances my skills and produces a beautiful painting for your collection or collection to be.
