This 10” x 20” acrylic painting by landscape artist Paul Alan beautifully captures the historic charm of the Leards Range Front lighthouse, better known as the Victoria By The Sea Lighthouse. Built in 1879 and standing 35 feet tall, the lighthouse overlooks the peaceful Victoria by the Sea harbour and the shimmering waters of the Northumberland Strait. Surrounded by vibrant lupins in early summer, it evokes the quiet beauty of Prince Edward Island’s coastline. In the warmer months, the lighthouse also houses the Victoria Seaport Museum.

Young at Heart Theatre, a registered charity, now in its 21st year of enriching the lives of older adults through story and song, needs your support so they can continue to bring quality entertainment to older adults in long-term care and community care facilities across PEI. A lot has changed over 21 years, but Young at Heart Theatre continues to serve our older population with live, professional musical theatre performances. Studies have shown that exposure to music and theatre can alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression and loneliness. Young at Heart’s mission continues to be about lifting spirits, hearts and minds.
